Question for those running 19's

I'm considering moving up to some Work 19 inch wheels, but I DD this car about 15-18k a year. I'm pretty nervous about dropping to a 30 series tire in the rear. I haven't done the math on what the sidewall height difference would be if I go to a 265 in the rear or other options. Basically, I'm wondering if anyone running 19 inch wheels could tell a big difference going from stock to 19? Roads aren't too bad in NC, but I don't want to regret this if I'm gonna spend 2-3k in wheels and tires.

You will lose 0.3" sidewall on the front with 235/35/19 and 0.4" on the back with 265/30/19
The change is not that dramatic because although you are increasing wheel size, overall tire diameter increases slightly as well. The type of tire you pick may have to do a lot with the ride comfort...

Thanks for the reply. I take it you don't have any regrets? I'll be going to a pilot sport in a 19. I'll have to check and see what the specs are on that tire specifically.

I went from 235-50-18 Pirelli P Zero Nero tires on my Mustang to 255-40-19 Michelin Pilot Super Sports (square setup). Ride quality improved and handling improved exponentially. The tire you choose may compensate for the loss of sidewall height going to 19" wheels/tires. I can't speak highly enough of the Super Sports.

I have 19" Work wheels and I will probably hit 18k miles this year maybe a little more.... No regrets on that choice what so ever... I have an AWD so I have the Proxes 4+ and I didn't really notice any difference in switching.
