F-Sport Shocks Break-in Period (Fact or Myth)

Is it true that f-sport shocks (bilsteins) do break in as you use it or put miles/km to it? Does it really soften up through time as you use it? This also goes to new shocks or new after market shocks is it true or, when you get a new set of shocks/coilover shocks the dampening/firmness/softness is set? It will not soften up or loosen up its seals/valving

I don't see how you could have a "break-in" period or steps to follow to "break-in" a shock. Just install and ride on!

Yes, all shocks will lessen their dampening over time; the QUALITY units manintain their dampening longer. Over time the seals and the pistons brake down and wear the inner tubes, thus decreasing optimal performance.

Coils and springs can also be "settling" which can be a week from install to let the car sit on the suspension b/c when you align it after install it you'll have to do it again when it settles
