Default MOOG outer tie rod the same on both side?

I ordered outer tie rod from rockauto and received both side, each with different part number. However they both said R on them and the shaft bends the same different. I then ordered one from amazon, and it still has R on it and bends the same way as the passenger side does. Is the left and right side the same tie rod?

No... the sides should bend opposite of each other. Only the L/R inners are the same.

I recently bought a set of Moog outer tie rod ends for my '00 GS300. I haven't put them on yet; still got them in the box. One has an L on it, the other has an R. They should look like this.

I'm pretty sure they did too. I would return it to Amazon since they offer free shipping for returns and amazon prime for free shipping

I am returning to amazon. I bit the bullet and sent to Autozone to pick up the driver side tie rod, no longer can wait. Apparently, their tie rod are made in Japan by 555. however they do not carry the one with zerk fitting for greasing. It sure does not look beefy as the one from Moog Problem Solver.

Hey guys,

New GS300 Owner. I actually also just bought a ton of stuff from rockauto and received the same issue. I filed a report about the issue and even sent them photos of the two rods showing R and the boxes being marked as different. Will keep everyone posted with the outcome.

I don't know what's going on here. I have ordered products from RockAuto a few times before. I have never had any problems. Most recently ordered tie rod ends and lower ball joints for my GS300. This is what I got.

You guys have bad luck. :/
I'm so glad I had the right parts 'cause it would be a b*tch to send these parts back and forth between Finland and US.

Can someone help me to explain my probleme to rockauto ? Because i don't speak englih very well and sometimes i don't understand all the sentences. Thanks

I understand your problem. I emailed Rockauto and they refunded my money and told me to keep the product. In the end, i used the same thing you have, they are mismatched. I was not able to wait for another order.
