This may be a dumb question, but I installed my BC coilovers this past weekend and I did not check the preload. I am not getting any noise from them but i just want to make sure that the preload is set correctly. I know how to set the preload but all the videos show it off the car. Can I do it with them installed?? Like maybe remove the mounting bolts up top to release the strut, then make the adjustment???

unbolt the coil from the bottom, then you can freely adjust the preload.

Preload is adjusted by the perches that are under your springs. You do not need to unbolt anything except maybe the wheel. Jack each side up and tighten the perches under your springs.

Yup what he said^ nothing needs to be removed bro. Adjust away. I tightened mine a bit just as it sits
