Default Wheel Bearings

I have a 2005 ES 330 Lexus with front noise when driving straight, and gets worse when cornering. Is it Bad Wheel Bearings?

This is the 2GS forum so posting in the correct forum would help you get the best advice:

A video or sound clip of the noise would definitely help diagnose but a constant noise that changes when cornering is a classic sign of bad wheel bearings. It could also be a few other cheaper things like brakes so check that first. A front wheel bearing on your car with FWD is going to be pretty expensive. Also if its coming from both sides though, its unlikely that both front wheel bearings failed at the same time. One thing that you could try is to take the wheel off that you think if making noise and listen to the bearing through a mechanics stethoscope
