Rear tire rub!
2015 IS Fsport RWD lowered on RSR Downs, the problem i have is that the rear tire rubs on big bumps on the inner rear bumper liner, I have no rubbing on the inside rear fenders. 20x10 wheel with 255/30/20 tire and a 40 offset. Would a rear wheel with a 42-45 offset help get rid of the rubbing? You guys that are slammed do you have this problem? Thanks

Getting Vossen CVT's installed this Friday
20x9 +38 (Front) 225/30/20
20x10.5 +45 (Rear) 255/30/20
From my research this setup doesn't rub on RSR Down springs, but I'll report back on that.
I go through some super harsh dips where I'm at, so I'll put them through a good test.
Been dealing with my 19" setup rubbing so I'm well aware of what situation causes them .

The pursuit of F
Sometimes the tire brand/model plays a role in it's width. Some tires have a more rounded side profile and/or a narrower section width than other brands of the same "size" allowing more clearance. You might want to consider comparing yours to other tires as they may be a cheaper alternative to changing wheels especially if you like them.

Update: New Vossen setup went on without a hitch.
Went through some rather harsh dips. I didn't go full speed as the wheels are still brand new, but I'm happy to report that the rubbing is non-existent.
I feel I bottom out on the RSR down springs before any rubbing can occur.
I'll get pics up later
Edit: Here's a couple

steveo55. I love the smooth sidewall on the Falkens but they must run a bit wider than other brands. Are your vle!'s 45 rear offset? let us know how the rear camber kit works out.
