Hi guys. Looking to get some coilovers for the car. however, I only want to do a modest drop. 1 inch to an inch and a half tops. Can I do this with the coilovers? Thanks

Yes you can. However, you can achieve the same drop with coil springs alone for much less. You can probably purchase a spring and shock combo cheaper than a set of decent coilovers.

It depends on the coilover. Some will be lower than stock even if you set the height to max.

you can drop alot more than an inch and a half with coilovervs, but like tigerbrand said above, you can achieve your desired drop with some spring, but if you really want coils i think the cheapest for our cars might be the megans if im not mistaken

Thanks, sounds like springs then. I like the idea of coilovers so I can raise it back up for the winter. But like I said I think an inch and a half is plenty.
