For a one inch drop I don't think coilovers would be worth the cost. Your better off getting springs when they become available.

If you have an IS F-Sport with the AVS and you install a coilover setup, you will lose the AVS functionality. In this instance RSR springs may be a better option for you.

correct, the AVS would not know that the factory springs have been replaced with aftermarket springs and would still allow you to use the AVS/F-Sport mode.

If I were to install coilovers I would just loose the function of the AVS but the other features such as "port S mode alters the powertrain for faster manual–mode gear changes and more dynamic throttle–mapping" will still work.?

I believe their springs are in the $280-350 range. Contact Jay at Dynamic Turbo. They are an authorized RSR dealer. 305-386-6545.

It is fairly easy to adjust the dampening, the fronts are super easy but the rears you do need to pull down the carpet wall in the trunk to gain access.

You do not need to remove or uninstall them to make adjustments.

If you are trying to adjust the ride height then you would need to remove the wheels to gain access to the coilover sleeves to adjust them.

Do you have any recommended # for the front and rear dampening setting? Not sure why the AWD coilovers would be different, but when or if I get coilovers, I'd like to set it and forget it.

^^ It all depends on personal preference…..some want a tighter ride…some want a softer one…

A possible killer update to come…can't share at this time
