Default Callahan Drilled Slotted Sport Brakes? Anyone have them?

Looking for brakes rotors/pads for my 2009 is250...

Looks like I might be able to upgrade from stock for not much more than the local part store

These guys are on sale 20% off right now: [FRONT + REAR] Drilled Slotted SPORT Brake Rotors + Ceramic Pads C170596

Anyone have any experience with them? Don't want to spend the extra $ thinking I'm upgrading and really just buying meh products.

Thanks!

they will look cool on your car ,but they will reduce your brake pads life like about 25% less than the OEM brake pads

Those types of rotors reduce the pad life? Or the OEM brake pads are superior to the ceramic pads included in that kit?

As slotted rotors wear down the slots will have nice sharp edges, which tends to wear out whichever pads you are using more quickly.

To the top like some has claimed ur pad wear will increase due to the slots. And i don't know if I would put my life in the hands of a company on ebay listing rotors for 212 bucks. There are plenty of other aftermarket rotors available with factory equipped calipers. Adams Rotors offer an OEM quality rotor with any design you want I believe. Check them out its more $$ but hey its ur life not mine i would rather feel content with my brakes.

...And in answer to ur question ur not really upgrading much, you prolly wont notice much improvement either. I had the fancy rotors and perfectly honest I didn't notice much of an "upgrade"

personally speaking slotted / drilled rotors just adds a nice look. Just make sure you get "low Dust" pads
