Red face 92' Sc300 Trac Light On HELP

I have been looking on these forums as well as many others but I'm not sure if I'm over looking this or what but the situation for was one day I was driving on the highway and my Passenger rear Caliper failed big time out of know where compressed destroying it's self, rotor and pad. So had it towed home threw out the junk and just bought a caliper from a salvage yard hooked it up and all that I need now is a rotor and pads BUT I went to jump the car being it sat and the battery died. Started the car everything was fine but this time the Trac light was on as well as the E-brake light was on I believe the E-brake light will go away once I full assemble the rear break system again as well as bleed the break lines and get it full of fluid again but I don't know what to do about my my Trac Light. What are all the reasons that this my be happening. I tried the gas gap, all my fuses are good and accounted for. I would assume that it would have something to do with the incident that occurred on the highway but not so sure. There is no check engine light on in the car ether just the E-brake and Trac Ligh

My TRAC light is also on, along with the Check Engine. It's intermittent, though. It goes on and off depending how I'm driving.

Check out what ever CEL code and fix it, it should fix the TRAC Light as well. To OP, i think you should have the CEL as well. Whatever it is fix it and it should fix the TRAC. But then again TRAC light comes on for many reasons. Good luck though

Actually my Check Engine light is not on, if it isn't fixed when I do my rotors and pads and fill up my brake fluid hopefully parts will be in by Tues if not wend. I will just take it to the dealer and have them tell me what it is and fix it myself, it didn't happen till the incident.

If your caliper and rotor were destroyed it is probable that your ABS sensor was destroyed too...and yes, obtaining the proper fluid level will kill the brake light on the dash.

This happened to me numerous times on my '92 Lexus SC300 with over 305,000 miles. I just simply remove my EFI fuse (30 amps) and reinsert it back and the fault indicating light for both CEL & TRAC disappears.
