Need a little help with lowering my 97 sc300...
Just like the title say I need a little help with lowering my 97 sc300. There's a few that I'm looking at but not sure if they are any good or not....1. Tein flex 2. eibach pro 3. tanabe sustec nf210 for the tein flex they are used...supposedly the guy said they got 10k on them..here is a picture of it tell me what yall think about that tien flex? is it worth buying? or should I get a new one? I know they are about $1500 brand new. As for lowering I like it to where it doesn't rub with good ride quality on 18's or 19's. Any help would be great! thanks.

Well if your going with a big wheel/tire combo you won't be going very low, but alot of people don't like the Tein Flex because the spring rates are way too high to compensate for the lack of good damping, and they aren't even mono tube shocks. Also I wouldn't want to run them on the street especially if you are going to have a low profile tire on 18/19's.

If I were you go with the HSD Coilovers there amazing I was in that boat. Went with HSD and am so happy I did they ride is amazing stiff yet comfy to drive and you can slam on it or have a comfortable height like what I did with my car.

use this site, to compare your old/stock and new wheel/tire combos
http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp
lets say youre sitting on 225/55/16s, they have a total circumference of 25.7
well if you wanted to run 235/35/19s, it would just about be the same as running stock
tire/wheel combo (shorter actually!) with a circumference of 25.5"
