Question Will Supra or LS400 REAR calipers fit properly on Sc400 with Goodridge SS lines

Hi,
My caliper was sticky so I decided to change the lines first as they were old and worn.
I decided to roll with Goodridge lines made for the Sc.
These lines were a PITA to install!
These lines were a PITA to install!
These lines were a PITA to install!

Did I make that clear?

I also broke the bleeder valve on the rear caliper. I went to Autozone and they did not have a replacement caliper (for Sc).
I am going to search today as well. Can I expand the search to include Supra and LS400 rear calipers in the search?

Will either rear caliper bolt on properly and fit the same Goodridge lines I installed yesterday?

Will anything else work in case I cant find them?

i need to fix this today!

Thanks Guys!

Just be logical

You can straight install a Supra TT rear caliper onto an SC

Also, someone correct me if I'm wrong, LS rear brakes are the same as SC 400 and Supra N/A

So if you can swap all that onto an SC, why wouldn't it work with aftermarket brake lines?

You think nobody on the forum that fitted TT or LS brakes ever put some SS lines to finish off the brake job?

Goodridge lines were a pain to install for me too. I ended up having a shop do that part after I feared stripping my worn out original rubber ones.

Regarding calipers for the rear, your only bolt-on solutions are the rear calipers from the SC400/Supra NA, SC300 calipers (but no one wants those), or the Supra TT.

For the Supra TT calipers you MUST have 17" or larger rear wheels to clear them and you must trim your rear dust shields with a Dremel. You can only buy the Supra TT rear dust shields but they are very expensive from the dealer.

Goodridge brake lines aren't really all that different in feeling from stock. It's more like they're more consistent and predictable. The LS400 front caliper conversion on the other hand, will be a night and day difference.
