Default Tokico Shocks - HTS Series :

Hey, has anyone installed the Tokico HTS series on their IS-350 ? I have thought about installing these:
Tokico Shocks - HTS Series : TOHTS117R (Rear)
Tokico Shocks - HTS Series : TOHTS117FL (Front-Left)
Tokico Shocks - HTS Series : TOHTS117FR (Front-Right)

I kinda like the idea adjusting the shock. Going to drive to Canada this summer so thought about upgrading some since I have 37K miles now.
let me know if you got good service out of your HTS.
Have a good one!

I have them & they're great. Spoke with one of the engineers from Tokico on the phone before purchasing. Can go from a hair softer than stock, to very stiff. I am not lowered, so can't comment on that.

<edit:> Oh yeah, you will need the extenders for the rear pair unless you want to remove the panels all the time, which isn't very efficient.

^Assuming you are on stock (OEM) springs?

I'd like to think this shock plus an H&R spring setup might be quite nice. But then you are getting into the full coilover neighbor of pricing.

Default Tokico adjust

Thanks for the tips. Yeah I have the stock springs, so I see what you are saying leaving the
trunk panels out would be annoying. Bummer
Gville350,you are right , with the H&R springs that blows my budget. I think I can replace those springs my self, Hmmmmmm Re- evaluation again.

I appreciate it guys
Have a good one

Just get the extenders for the rear - they were only like $20 or so when I bought them.

You can also buy a set of used springs. For me, I didn't want to mess with coilovers & having to rebuild them on this car. Not sure what Tokico's warranty is like when lowered but if you're interested, it might be something worth asking. I may do springs later myself, but happy with the ride right now.
Another thing to think about is that once you lower the car a certain amount, then you have to factor in the cost of a camber / toe kit, etc.
