Default megan/bc racing/pbm coilvers

i had a gs400 on megan lp's and loved them. just picked up a sc, which one of the above coilovers would you guys recommend that has same ride quality and height adjustability? megan lp's let you go LOW and ride was perfect.

Megan and bc is probably the exact copy of each other, just relabel, pbm is stiff but all of them go low.

BC Racing has done me well. The ride is a tad bouncy at my height. They can go decently low, but i'd just say go PBM and slam her to the ground. Lol.

No such thing as a comfy ride with SCs if you're trying to go that low.

Tad bouncy at your height? Please do explain.

I've been on an on/off search for coils, but my ride quality is terrible now so I think its about time I replace my suspension. Was almost set on BC-R's but now I'm considering a TT spring/strut combo.

Im on PBMs with my SC300, about tucking rim on stock wheels. It's alittle bouncy, but you have to expect it when your this low and the cars weighs so much, but these cars are so comfy anyways it all works out for the better. Haha.

a little off topic but ive been reading about people having to rewire some wires inside the fenders when you slam. whats up with that?

Idk, maybe it's just the way i set up my coilovers, but it's just pretty bouncy due to it being pretty stiff to compensate for the height. And since my roads are terrible, i guess it just exaggerates the bounciness. But i'm assuming you don't want to slam your car? The BCs were great when i was still at a decent ride height. They handled great and when you dialed them in, they were very comfy.

And to answer your question about the wires, there's a wiring harness up inside the drivers fenderwell, that when you lower the car, you can eat away at the plastic casing and eventually the wires. When you do lower your car, just follow this tutorial and you'll be set.

Just ordered some PBMs this very afternoon. Should be able to tell you how they ride shortly

By the way how are your roads over in the States? One thing I'm not looking forward to is driving on some of the shocking (pun intended) roads around Sydney.
