Yeah it probably depends but whats a good amount to make it look nicer but still a safe height from scraping.
Is it even worth lowering or would it not be enough to make a difference?

Not only does lowering make it look nice but it can also make your ride feel smoother while also handling better!

Also, I'm not sure how much of a drop this is but I'm lowered to the point where I'm tucking tires on both front and rear and I never scrape the bumper.
You might scrape the mudflaps if you lower your car but I took those off.

Also, people are A LOT lower than I am and I don't think they scrape that much.
Like you said, it depends mainly on the roads and your driving habits

Define "scrape"? Guess you mean the front lip/bumper. Well, technically you can scrape at stock ride height; so the answer will differ. Since I've dropped my ride 2.5" on BCRs, I've only semi-scraped a driveway once. You just gotta know how to enter/exit bad inclines/declines and avoid parking lot curbs or stones.

indeed, driving style/methods play a part. i would say lower it until you have at least 5 or 6 inches between the lowest part of your undercarriage and the ground.

I set my coils where there is zero fender gap on all corners. The HKS Hi-Power is probably the one that hangs the lowest because of it's fat canister design. You can even see the muffler body hanging off the sides of my rear Wald spoiler. The tips are 115mm. I have scraped it a few times when ascending very steep ramps.

Here a few pics of my car just to give you an idea.

Look closely at the rear. You can see the muffler hanging off the sides.

115mm tips. The HKS will look better if you have a rear spoiler.

Of all the tips I like the Greddy SP the best.
