Yellowspeed coilovers??
helllooooo so i finally got some money to start working on my 92 sc400 :woohoo: and i'm looking for budget friendly coilovers and i found Yellow Speed coilovers for sale on craigslist for $725
are these any good? and if you have them what are you inputs on these?? Any help will be appriciated! |
never heard of them. do a google search. you could probably find a more known coilover system for that price or a few hundred more. are you in norcal or socal?
|
yeah at least some tein basics, never heard of yellowspeed.
|
I have yellow speed coilovers, had them for the past 8K miles. no problems at all, rides just as when I installed them. Only thing I wish was that the rear springrate was stiffer.
Plan to upgrade the rear springs to 12k to reduce my rims contacting my fender on bigger bumps. I'm guessing youre from norcal, since you found them on craigslist. Thats where I bought mine, actually from vex motorsports. |
Why not just get Megans for <$700?
|
why not just get teins for 8??? Are the yellowspeeds rebuildable? personally i think its worth the initial investment to buy something rebuildable.
|
If you've never heard of them...that should be a red flag...Craigslist should have been the next red flag
Get Megans or BC Racing, good names and a lot of people like them. Hit us up if you want some help getting a deal on a set :) |
Yea im located in the Bay area, union city to be exact, I will definately look into some tein basics or megans...Thanks everyone for your input! i will let you guys know what i get soon...
