Default Wheels/ Calipers fitment question (I've searched)

Hi all,

So Ive been searching the web for the past 3 hours nonstop and i cant find the answer to a few questions that i have. Im going to be doing a Big Brake Upgrade on my 95 SC and i cant decide weather to go with Supra TT Calipers front and back or LS400 Calipers front and Supra in the back. Ive seen all the threads about which is better, which weights less,etc... but my question is:

Are the TT FRONT calipers direct Bolt On like the LS or is there some modding to be done. I know the rear once are but I just want to be safe on the front.

And my second question is if the bakes will fit the wheels that i plan to get. Im going to be getting Lumarai Morro 18" wheels. I know they clear the LS400 calipers because the exact same wheel also fits an LS400, but i have no idea about the TT calipers. Here is the link to the wheel for all the specs:
http://www.lumaraiwheels.com/lexus_b...heels.php?tp=s

I'm doing a staggered set. 18x8 front and 18x9.5 back.

Thanks in advance for any info you can give me!

I can create a sub-forum just on this subject alone. I've moved the thread into the proper sub-forum. I hope you can find the information you are looking for here...wait...I KNOW you will find it.

vteruni, if you searched for my thread about LS Brakes, which was also recently bumped up, you'd see the answer to your question. But of course you gotta read through the thread, it's not gonna be on the 1st page. I know it can be a pain to search at times, but the more you do it, the better you're gonna get at it. But anyways, Supra MKIV TT & 2nd gen LS front brakes are direct bolt on, only the Supra MKIV TT rear brakes are direct bolt on for the rear. And if the LS brakes fit, TT brakes will. Good luck.

to save some cash you should just get the fronts since 70% if not more of your braking power is from the fronts. some good high performance pads in the rear should suffice

i thought about doing that, but i have to replace the rotors and pads on the rear anyway, so i figured i might as well get the calipers while im at it. its a bit extra money but at least i will have more reliable brakes. Ofcourse this will have to wait since the lexus dealership i took my car to completely screwed it up because of a simple oil pan change. Once they fix whatever they broke ill start working on the wheels/brakes.

thanks for the advice though, i will definitely do that if i find myself short on cash.

you can order the entire ls400 upgrade kit for cheaper than parting it together at silver mine motors
it's selling for $420 right now.

thats a good deal but i decided to go with supra tt set. Anyone know of any good places to get those? There is only one junkyard around my area and it doesnt have anything worth a damn so thats definitely not an option.

I saw this website that sells OEM products but im not sure if they are any good. is oehq.com or something like that.
