Default Opinions on F-Sport Sway Bars

I am thinking about purchasing the F-Sport Sway bars within the next couple of weeks. But I wanted an opinion from other CL members who actually have them to see if I should go the route of purchasing both the front and rear sway bars or just the rear sway bar.

Thanks guys.

This has been covered TONS of times in the suspension category under the 2IS section. I know because I just researched it when I bought mine. If you buy just the rear it's a good improvement and if you buy both it's better. If you're gonna buy just one, get the rear. If you can afford both get both.

^^^^ What he said

Also -> Bigger improvement on the 250 because the stock sways are not as strong as the stock on the 350. Huge improvement for both cars however. I run my 350 with front and rear and its perfect!

I'm not entirely convinced it does.

See all the previous threads explaining why the posted #s from lexus on this can't be true.

(in short- the 250 and 350 have the same stock bars, and they have the same F-sport bars too, so it's impossible for the same bar to be "more stiff" than another of the exact same bar when each is compared to the same stock bar.)

I have both, I ordered them with my intake. They were my first mods and I love them. You will not regret it. I think Sewell has them for the cheapest they have been in a while, snag em!

I coulda swore that the diameter of the bars was different between the stock cars?

Nope.

Lots of folks assumed that though based on the weird "percentage" numbers the F-sport site had... (despite the fact that site changes its own numbers at least once along the way) but Lou actually tracked down not only the part numbers, but physically measured, the bars. They're the same for 250 and 350.

I did the rear in my IS350 2 weeks ago and can feel the difference in cornering. I do not feel any difference in regular driving, only in the corners (some say the ride is more stiff, but I did not feel it). It took the car from Camry cornering to sporty. I did not replace the front since that promises only a 6% improvement on the 350.

Make sure NOT to buy it on EBAY from North Miami Lexus, as they sent it without the brackets and bolts. Then they sent the wrong brackets. Then they blamed me stating the article said it was a "replacement" F sport sway bar (like you upgraded, then the bar went bad?). I returned it all and bought from Sewell. I woll only buy from Sewell from now on.

Does the install of the rear on the 350 require the car be jacked up with weight off the rear wheels, or will those ramp things work to get under the car?

thanks
