Default RSR Black-i Coil Overs review

Just got these air freighted from Japan, as of right now these are the only set here in the US. I got a chance to install it over the weekend. The guys over at RSR USA wanted to test fit their RSR Black-i coilovers on my car. Apparently they have been out for some time in Japan.

By far these are the most comfortable coilovers EVER, from the specs it can go as low as 115mm = 4 inches. I've only dropped it roughly 2 1/2 and it rides AMAZING on soft settings, since i do daily it. I'll let the pictures do the talking..

Nice!

3 questions?

Pillow Ball or Rubber upper mounts?
Are they adjustable (dampening)?
May I ask how much $?

4 year bump Is anyone else running these? I bought a used set and installed them and they are the most comfortable coilovers I've owned a car with. Ran a lot of Tein etc...on SC and now on Supra. Need to raise mine up some too.

I would like to chime in. Had these on my car for about 3.5 years before selling them. Without a doubt, the best coilovers I have ever bought.

This is why we sell so much of them.

18k/16k and they're the most comfortable coilovers you've ever felt? I am definitely skeptical- stiff is stiff. But I suppose it speaks volumes about the dampers if people still like them this much with spring rates that high.

I prefer the stiffer feel over the softer. So while the spring rates are stiff, they are comfortable and easy to drive on daily basis.

My previous coilovers on different cars have been D2, Tein SS, Tein Flex, BC Racing etc...compared to those these are the most comfortable I've had.
