Question new version F-sport spring.. clunk noise problem!!!

hey guys,

I installed new version of f-sport spring on my rwd is350 for a about a week now... All three springs seem normal except for my front driver side.. I can hear a clank sound on bumpy road and stop bump.. It's sound like metal is hitting on metal..

So today.. I took everything off and re-assembly again to see if it goes away.. the clank noise still there..

Any suggestion????

should I get Tein Silencer?

maybe it did not sit properly? When i installed my springs, I noticed they didnt seat in the same position as the oem, so I used a marker to keep track of the positions

had the f sport springs on my is 350 awd for 4 months and had no issue at all. And Baltimore roads are really bumpy

I just had mine re-installed and they are noisy as hell.. my front passenger is driving me nuts... I'm going to take it apart and re-assemble it, make sure it is sitting right and all... NYC roads are really bumpy too...

Just got my fsport springs professionally installed today and I too can hear a slight clunk noise in the front drivers side going over big bumps. Do you guys think this is a common problem with new version springs?

polo8, if you are going to spend that much why not get coilovers?
Also, the noise lately have been minimum... I had a mechanic friend of mine take a look and gave him the specs on the suspension and other stuff posted here online and he found few things loose. After that, only going BIG bumps I hear stuff...

Re-torque every single suspension bolt you see. I had clunking on my f-sport springs and for whatever reason after installing them, some bolts were loose (ones I didn't even touch).

Whatever the case is, just retorque everything and you'll be fine.

Im looking to do the F-Sport springs too. Im also considering an 18" wheel. Does anyone think i will have a rubbing issue on fender or fender well. Kind of curious to know.
