hey guys,
I installed new version of f-sport spring on my rwd is350 for a about a week now... All three springs seem normal except for my front driver side.. I can hear a clank sound on bumpy road and stop bump.. It's sound like metal is hitting on metal..
So today.. I took everything off and re-assembly again to see if it goes away.. the clank noise still there..
Any suggestion????
should I get Tein Silencer?

No more metalic clunk!
Just installed the medium Tein spring silencers as suggested. No more clunk!!! You can see where the springs had been touching (clunking) when you lift up the car and remove the wheel. I just inserted the silencers starting at the top and then down to where the last of the markings were on each spring. Mine (MY08 - IS250) used two silencers per corner. Thanks!

I also hear a clunking noise when going over speed bumps. Seems to be coming from front passenger side. I had both f-sport shocks and springs installed at the same time. How think is the tein silencer? Wouldnt it raise the height a bit? Where do you put it in? Right above the spring? Any of you guys have pictures?

If you put 1 pair on the the shock that has the noise, it wouldn't raise the height at all and it does solve the clunking noise problem.
Usually the noise are from the rear, I rarely hear anyone complaining about the front. The front springs have so much gap in between the coils so i don't think they are slapping each other at all to create noise.
