Default Cross drilled/slotted r1 concepts!!

OK, i just ordered a set of R1 concept slotted/drilled rotors on ebay. Its gonna be my first aftermarket part on my lexus. Anyone who's tried em out and would like to give me their experience and opinion with it? or anything i should know before even slapping it on.

Not really needed imho, but to each their own. You'll wear your pads a little faster, but at least you won't really have brake fade.

I have a set of Premium, performance drilled/slotted
12K miles or 15 months of use with OEM pads and no complaints yet. Conservative driver though!
Brake dust free (front wheels)
The drilled and slotted crevices show signs of rust. NOt bad.
Another member stated that they tend to crack because of weakness of drilled/slotted.

Good Luck

You can spray paint those holes so they don't look rusty.

I plan to get the same ones (for looks, I know there is no performance improvement on the street) and I have heard nothing but good things on some of the other forums that I frequent.

I ralized that after my califpers were painted and rotors installed (signs appear after a few weeks).
Now, I am too lazy to do it. I know rotors will look better but the sings of rust doesn't really bother me. I will eventually do it.
If anybody getting those rotors, it will be a good idea to paint those slots and drilled areas before installing.
