Question H&R or F-Sport springs ?

So confused about the springs because many people tell me the car is already low but i feel the stupid gap is still there

Also idk which will give me better look and better handling not to mention i don't want to kill my shocks...

Because mine is ME/Gulf specs i thought the stock springs might be lower than IS250 & IS350 so idk... really need help

Here is a pic might help

I was in the exact same situation a few weeks ago lol. I wouldnt suggest getting the fsports because you wont really notice the drop. I ended up deciding to get coils but if that isnt an option for you and you know FOR SURE that you wont want to go lower after getting springs, then go with H&Rs

hmmm wouldn't the H&R shorten the life of the shocks since it drops more?

the reason i considered the Fsport cuz its by Lexus

Not only can the H&Rs can shorten the life of your shocks, the fsports can too. Its hard to give you a straight answer. Some members shocks have gone out prematurely and other have lasted them over 50K miles.

From what I've read, the Lexus F Sport springs are able to be seated onto the factory struts...

i think i'll go with Fsport springs since they're by Lexus.. H&R drops more and puts pressure on the shocks more than the Fsport and don't want to risk my shocks..

Fsport springs are actually eibachs btw. They're just labeled as Fsport. Make sure you definitely want to go with springs because a lot of members ended up getting coilovers and wasting their money on springs. Also look at a couple of pics of Fsport springs. The drop isn't that noticeable.

coilovers are too expensive, i would put 2011 headlight as priority more than coilovers. don't get me wrong but i don't like slammed or too dropped look :P if the Fsport spring will drop me a little lower and give me better handling i will be more than happy

If you have problem finding F-Sport spring in your area then you can go for Eibach. Eibach made F-Sport. The amount of drop and driving characteristic should be about the same.

For extreme lowering spring, go for H&R, Tein S-Tech and Road Magnet. Other springs will not lower the car as much as these three springs.

One thing i don't like about most lowering springs is they are mostly progressive rate. They will impair the bump/rebound characteristic of the suspension.

Quick Reply: H&R or F-Sport springs ?
