Default Painting Break Caliper

I am having a problem with getting the high heat engine paint i bough to stick to my brake caliper in certain spots does anyone know what i am doing wrong or if i should get a different kind of paint. I followed exactly what bannags said and im still having difficulties

that's weird, did you use the brake spray cleaner to clean your caliper first? i did that and then put on some high temp engine enamel and it's staying there pretty good

I used VHT caliper paint and it seems to be holding up pretty good.

I got that same can of paint for 6.99 at ACTION AUTO PARTS!
Worked OK.

I used G2 caliper paint and IMO it's the best... Nothing to mask or cover.... I used VHT caliper paint in my enigine bay..

I used Foliatec which is I think easier to apply since it is applied with a brush and not spray. This way you dont have to go crazy with masking tape and the overspray. It does come with a cleaner that you need to apply to the calipers to ensure good adhesion. I bought it on the web.

I also recommend that you dont mix the whole paint / lacquer contents together. Foliatec provides you enough to do a couple of cars so save it for future applications / touchups.
