Default I have a quick question...

I am wanting to lower my car, but I just don't have the money for lowering springs right now. I have heard that you can cut them and it will do the same thing with no problems. I have also heard that you will blow out your struts in a matter of 6 months or so if you do it as well.

I just wanted to know what you all think that I should do...

Thanks for reading

P.S. I have a 1992 Lexus SC400 w/ stock suspension.

The only thing is that the cheapest lowering kit I could find is like $500-$600. Which is way to much for me...

You should buy a Civic. You can find lowering spring at a fraction of the cost. I'm not hating, as I had few Civic Si's back in the days and I know they're cheap to mod.

dont cut your springs, dont cut your springs, did you get that? dont cut them. this is a big boy car. not a honda. ANNND who told you lowering springs are 5-600$? they lied to you. a simple google search would have answered this question.

btw.
heres a link to the cheapest springs i found. 215$ if you cant afford these, dont modify your car.
