Default Supra TT vs SC300 Knuckles

I have some Supra TT rear knuckles here I am looking to swap into my SC300. The part number for the supra knuckles is: 42304-14020(Right) and 42305-14020(Left)

The SC300 part number for rear knuckles is: 42304-24020(Right) and 42305-24020(Left)

Anyone know the exact difference in the knuckles? Are they interchangeable?

Thanks

I will post the results if no one does. Was just hoping to get this info advance before my TT knuckles arrive because I am wanting to change all the bearings on the spare knuckles I got my hands on, and just swap knuckles on the car to reduce downtime. I had to buy these rear TT knuckles either way because they had the TT dust shields on them which are very expensive new.

I just tried to do some research but can't seem to find anything. I am curious to hear if you have any findings as well.

Comparing my own MK4 Supra project to my Dad's SC300, I'm 99.99% certain that the only difference is the brake shields on the front knuckles - but I haven't made a similar comparison to the rear knuckles just yet. I might have to, at this rate - the Supra is on jackstands in the garage getting its subframes/suspension/etc gone through, and I just did a TT brake conversion in my Dad's SC300 that I can't seem to get bled correctly...

Curious to see what your findings are though, Joliroger - going to the dark side of SC/MK4 ownership too?

Yeah, the front knuckles are identical, with the same part number. The rears have different part numbers. I should have the TT ones here shortly for comparison.

I have a MKIV TT, but I never drive it much. My daily is the sc300, but while I am doing the brakes, might as well do an upgrade. I hope to one day do a gte swap. Slowly collecting parts, and hopefully I'll be taking the train to work when I am ready to swap the motor so I wont need to drive any of the fun cars to work

Ok, so I had the knuckles side by side. I can not honestly tell the difference. I tried measuring in a few places but could not come up with anything different. They do look a bit different, I am just not equiped to properly measure them and identify how they are different when dealing with taking measurements of all three dimensions. The supra TT knuckle is bare and has the tie wraps holding the bearing races in. The SC300 rear knuckle has the TT heat shield on it.

it looks to me like the rear traction link angle is different.

All I can say is they are definitely different. I would not go interchanging them. Many of the arms that bolt to the rear knuckles are of different geometry as well which is why I wouldn't go mixing things. I think if you truely want all the supra parts in your SC, I would swap a whole subframe as documented here in this link. For my little daily driver, brakes, struts/springs and sway bars from a TT are fine for me.

I still have those TT knuckles, but would like to keep them as spares for my MKIV, sorry

As stated above, fronts are identical with the same PN.

i would say if anything, the only difference would be the bushing being a bit stiffer on the supra one. I heard something like that about the front arms as well.
