I believe any rotors and pads from a 1995-2000 LS will work.

Your brake lines will work,(my lines were in great condition when I inspected them for cracks and abnormal wear) but make sure you get the copper washers

i picked up a set of R1 slotted rotors and some bosch ceramic pads to replace my oe setup. i put carbon pads and drilled/slotted rotors on my sc back in 2003 and they worked great, but i figure if im redoing my brakes ill upgrade to LS400 in the front. no pics yet, will probably post them in my build thread later. i picked up some new ss brake lines to go with it also.

I understand the purpose of drilled and slotted rotors for the track, but why do people use them for street use?
they are way more prone to breaking since you induce stress points on the rotors, they wear pads out faster.
why would anyone want anything other than a blank for the street?

they look good..... simple as that. the stresses from daily driving won't do anything to them. comparing a track car to a street car is pointless.
