Want to drop the IS350 for some 19's or if 20's (Vossen CV3's )...which are the best springs to get without the car bouncing?? Also would like the front drop more then the rear. Suggestions guys

Ive read that a few members have had some bounce with the Tein S Tech springs. I hear good things about H&R springs tho. I believe its a 1.3" drop in front and 1.4" rear or the other way around. Feel free to correct me if Im wrong

god why do the springs drop the back more I just want the springs witout that ridiculous bounce, only reason I won't go with eibach springs because a friend of mine has it in his mustang n civic si n the bounce is ridicous.

i have rode eibach on a saturn and a maxima rode beautiful compared to teins. i could never go tein again. if i got springs i would have to go f sport or eibach... i dont know how eibach is on the is350 though.
Most of the time you get a bouncy suspension when you use a mushy strut like what comes stock with our cars.
Anyone with experience in dropping on springs wouldn't recommend dropping more than .5 inches on stock struts.

theres 3 diff kinds of megan coils and hows the ride quality with them? How long do coils last, this car just for looks..no tracking or anything

Just want to correct some facts:

H&R drop is 1.4" FRONT and 1.3" REAR. I defiantly recommend them!

They have the best and most even drop for springs - and the ride quality is great

I knew I had it the other way around lol. I wasnt going to lower my car at first but your pics changed my mind How would you compare the ride quality to the OEM suspension? And youre on stock shocks too right?

My lowering springs are a brand called "Hotchkis". They make sway bars for the 2IS as well. I bought them off eBay for $110 shipped and I think they're pretty good for that price. It dropped the rear 0.8" and the front 1.2". Basically, I got a one finger gap on the front and rear.

i was thinking coilovers but I'm not going to adjust em 100 times I think the H&R's and Tein S Techs are grabbin my attention..as long as i dont rub, once I put bigger rims the gap may become a bit less noticable.

Yup stock shocks.

The ride, IMO, is better than stock. The car feel more planted, less "floaty" over bumps, and handling has improved.

Definatly NOT harsh or bad ride quality!
