Default F-sport springs from dealer

Dealer is offering F-sport spring for $299 and $100 for install. Compared to local shop in SD, price seems pretty good. question is, Do I spend about $100 more for Eibachs installed at a tuner shop or stick with the dealer? I'm leaning toward the dealer. I want a moderate drop and the best ride quality possible.

Although I'm usually against dealer installation, I have to admit that is a good deal. $100 for the install from a dealer is dirt cheap. Although they are selling the springs at a higher cost than sewell, it is offset by the low installation cost. Going this route will also give you a warranty on the product and installation from the dealer. I say do it if your looking for a small drop

You need to pounce on that installed price of $399. With shipping, the springs from Sewell were $240. I prefer to work on my own car, but definitely would have let the dealer do it if my total cost was going to be $400. While you have him, get the alignment thrown in as well. The labor time for a spring install has to be between 3.5 and 5 hours, at a labor rate of $100 per hour......... Easy math!

Sweet deal bro. You are gonna love them! I just installed mine a week ago, and it made a huge difference in the overall look of the car. Here's my thread....

I just called my local dealership and they said $315 for the springs, but an additional $32 for each spring for "insulators"? Apparently they are rubber pieces that go on the bottom of the spring to prevent metal on metal from the spring to the shock. I've never heard about these "insulators" in any posts I've been reading, nor do they seem to be available on Sewell. Anyone have any insight on this?

I got the same quote from my local dealership. They quoted $150 for the insulators. I did some research online but nothing came up about these "insulators"

My only guess is that they're the same as Tein rubber silencers, but that only seemed to be an issue on older versions of the F Sport springs. From what I've read, the newer version of the springs don't need anything at all. Smells like a dealership cash grab to me!!

Hope you jumped on that deal... I have been looking at the f-sport springs lately. Was at the dealer today getting some warranty work completed and asked for a quote on install. They wanted $1000 for the install ($250/corner) + $130 alignment + $130 alignment in 30 days

What range of prices are people seeing when they get quotes for spring install?

Thanks
