I know this thread is old , but it helped me out big time. I had installed rear rcas and tried to get an alignment. Found out my toe adjustments were seized during the alignment. I had ground through almost new rear tires even after replacing the bolts. The car was unsafe to drive as the rear end kept dog tailing at speeds of 30 mph.Afterwards i was guided to replacing toe links and bushings after reading this thread. I was able to adjust the toe to safely drive the car until all of my replacement parts arrive. Thanks for this write up!

Had to thank you as well(KYLE HARDY)... I had to have mine REMOVED like you said. I was able to adjust my toe to safely drive the car until all new parts arrived.
