Master Cylinder Stopper on GS4??
I just started reading about master cylinder stoppers and it sounds like a cheap, worthwhile mod.
Has anyone found one? Anyone made one? Any experiences?
Also, if one was to make one, which way are the forces pushing the cylinder? Side to side or front to back? Left/right? Front/back?
Oh...here is what I read about them
"Better and direct braking feel.
When you apply brake, brake master cylinder is moved slightly by pressure. Brake master cylinder stopper stops this movement and transmits the pedal pressure to master cylinder without any loss of pressure caused by that movement. This produces much better and direct brake feeling."

They definately work. Motion is away from the firewall going forward and the brace usually attaches to the driver's shock tower somehow. Granted you probably won't see too much difference in street driving but if you take the car to the track (and no I don't mean the drag strip) then you will definately see a noticeable improvement in response and feel.

if you are nice to me, I make a brake stopper and show you how to do it
All you need to do is to stop the brake cylinder from going forward under hard braking.
get it =)
get it =)

no, that is not on my car, it's cusco brake stopper. just to show you the concept of not letting the main brake cylinder going forward by pushing into it. Any weld shop can make you one of these, just show them the picture.
