Talking Which coilovers would you prefer?

Hello CL members, I am deciding to purchase some coilovers. But I have no idea which ones to get. I've been looking through threads, to see which one were popular. Here are my options, can someone tell me what are the differences other than the costs?
Thanks.

both are popular. a search through the 2is suspension section will net you different results based on the key words you use.

here's a search result using the key word "BC racing":
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sus...ing-coils.html

using the key words "megan racing", you also get this:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sus...on-is350.html?

and if you use both sets of key words, you can find comparison threads like this:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sus...coilovers.html

and this:

They are both typically fine for street use, unless you plan on tracking your car or something. BC got a 30 way adjustable damper compared to Megan EZ which is only 15. I had to choose between the two and I ultimately chose BC and I love them thus far . The EZ were pretty new when I was in the market for coilovers so there were really no reviews on them. So far people who had them said they liked them. I'd say if you were on a budget go with the EZ, but if you got a little cash to spend go with the BC's I think they will be better in the long run. But thats just my opinion

I would recommend going with the BCR coilovers if you have the budget, they don't cost much more and have better features. Like locking lower rings, beefier shock bodies, available rubber mounts, and better ride quality.

Either set will be fine for street use though.

Well said ^^

BC's are nice. If you are going to lower/slam your car low, reccomend getting them with stiffer springs with them

Damn....I'm absalutly confused All I want to do is keep the same comfort of ride. Not into racing or track. Do alot of driving between Vegas and Cali. However, I do like the look of lowering it slightly =1 inch. I have stock 18's. Not interested in slamming or rolling the fenders.

Can anyone give me advice on this matter. Thanks.....so far I like the EZ's because it's pretty Blue LOL

If your trying to stay with a low budget then get the megans, but if you can afford a lil more then go with the BCs.

Like what circuit MS stated, the BCs have locking lower rings, beefier shock bodies, available rubber mounts, and better ride quality.

Cant go Wong with that now

Could you explain what the locking lower rings specifically do?

you dont need coils, just get springs if you want to lower an inch.. much cheaper and it still does what you want and use the balance to buy other mods!

It has to do with the rings tapered design and how once you tighten them together its a better "lock" than other brands.

I personally placed an order from BCRs, but have yet to get them due to the 2 week lead time for my pillowball mounts.

Also remember that with BCRs they will replace a bad shock for only $95.

^This should explain the BC locking rings :

www.importimageracing.com

Select Lexus is350 bcr suspension and look at the ad for the replacement locking ring picture.

Edit for picture :
