Default Is there interest in the All Gold Tein CS?

Mine blew out and I sent them to Tein. They want $900 to rebuild so I said no.

They want $50 to ship back.

Is this worth getting back to sell as a core (say a couple hundred bucks) to someone that would want to rebuild these? Does this have any value or just cut my losses and trash it?

Thoughts? Does anyone still care for these anymore?

Thanks!

You might be able to get your shipping money back for both ways ($50 there and another $50 back). I think you should just cut your losses and toss them. The tein CS is no longer a popular coilover. They can't slam the car and there are so many cheaper coilovers on the market now (not necessarily better, but cheaper).

You might be able to find someone that is willing to pay the $900 to tein to get them rebuilt if you wanted to give them away.

I had figured as much. Time passes, things change.

Tein has the dampers only, I still have the springs, perches, tops, bump stops, boots and collars.

It blows my mind I'm just going to toss all this gold anodized goodness in the trash. When I first got them, it was the best day ever.

Haha that was also 12 years ago.

Thanks, all!
