Default Brake master cylinder rebuild kit?? Are they any good?

Just wondering if these rebuild kits are any good being that the actual master cylinder cost about 1300 at best. Ive had my brake system bleed twice and front calipers, brakes, and rotors replaced along with the brake fluid. Im still getting a soft pedal any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

my car has always had "soft pedal" but stops on a dime. think it is normal. right after i got it i thought i had a problem cuz i am used to the pedal locking up about half way down. if your car stops then dont worry about it.

That's because most M/S are under 150 bucks but at $1600-2100 for new one, someone could rebuild them and make some $$.

They are no longer available due to the liability those who rebuilt them faced if they screwed something up.

OP- What makes you think you need to rebuild your MC? Is it leaking, because that is the only reason I would replace a MC.
I believe all of our GS's suffer from a soft brake pedal. If you want to improve the firmness, invest in some stainless steel brake lines. Those will help the most IMO!

I had the same issue, although my brakes stopped locking up, but NO ABS sucks ***. Ive had my car spin twice on me in the rain already.. both have been a close call.

Redgs- If your brakes have stopped being able to lock up completely, they only thing I can think of is air is in your lines

I not sure what your talking about but I hate ABS with a passion. I feel it make the car unpredictable.
