what suspension are you on?
hey guys, I was thinking about switching out my megan racing ez's coilovers for something different. Let me know what you guys have and how you feel about them as well as how many dampening adjustments it has and the spring rates. I want my ride to be stiffer then right now and less body roll.
I was thinking about stance gr+ b/c i believe its 12k 10k with 15 damping adjustments whereas the megan racing is 10k 8k? or 6k? with 15 damping adjustments.
if you dont mind, can you post how much you got them for? Thanks!

Im sitting on stance gr+ and they ride very good. im dropped only about two inches off the ground and the ride quality feels like my l-tuned springs and stock shocks did.
to me the stiffness feels perfect. i belive the dampening is set to 13 in front 11 in back for my daily drive right now
i dont have other coilovers compare the quality to except my friends hondas on ground controll on konis, but they were supprised at the ride quality for my drop.

currently on KW Variant 3s:
-rates: dont know off of the top of my head
-pros: rides great performance, awesome, so much better than my JIC FLT-A2s.
-cons: price.
prior setup, JIC FLT-A2s:
-rates: 14f/ 10r
-pros: great performance, great value
-cons: harsh ride
i also am running hotchkis sway bars, JIC front strut tower bar, and a three point rear strut tower bar.
handles pretty damn well, little to no noticable body roll with both coilover set ups.

BC BR's. 10k / 8k I believe? 30 way dampening, go lowww. Very comfortable ride even set pretty stiff. Paid $925 shipped.
*They also offer a version called the extreme drop kit, I got quoted the same price, it will put you on the floor.

Coilover:
Stance GR+, 12/10 spring rates, and 15-way adjustable.
Comment:
Performance is good, and I didn't find the ride was too stiff. My son hasn't had any complaints either. You can also request custom spring rates from THM (+/- 3kg of standard). While I liked the performance and drivability aspects, I found the build quality lacking. The rubber boots were all torn within a couple months, and the bushings showed signs of wear in under 5K miles (v2 lower mounts included). Customer service was friendly and easy to work with, but you may need to make a few reminder calls to get warranty parts shipped out in a timely manner. Even though I was out of warranty, they still sent me a pair of rear lower mounts (bushing replacement). If it wasn't for the bushing issues, I would have stuck with my GR+. When they blow, I will probably move on to something else rather than rebuilding.
Price: Whatever the going rate was at THMotorsports.
v1 vs v2:
v2 after 4 months and <5k miles:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Coilover:
Apex'i ExV, 10/6 spring rates, 32-way adjustable.
Comment:
These things were garbage out of the box. I guess they are a semi-OK-ish entry level coilover, but I did not have a good experience with them. I know of at least two other people who had the same problems. I don't know if it was the damper, the low spring rates, or a combination of both, but the rear was bouncing off the bump-stops all day long. Once I replaced the the rear springs (6kg to 8kg), that eliminated the problem. Their customer service is absolute garbage. They didn't help me resolve the issue, and left it to me to take care of it out of my own pocket. When I sold them cheap, they told the buyer that they could rebuild them in about 3 weeks. Once the buyer was ready, they said that it would take months to get the parts. I offered to ship the ExV's to Apex'i directly (to save the buyer shipping fees), but the company wouldn't accept the package until after they got the parts. I will not be buying anything from Apex'i again.
Price: ~$800 back in 2006

Rvalero and rayy117 are correct. That is the correct spring rates for the gr+ stance coils..my mistake...rvalero, wouldn't you be able to use stock lower bushings with the stances? Or was it more of not having to pay for it and the company should stand by their product?
