Default advice please.....rca vs springs

I have searched and read a bunch of posts about the rca's. I have a 99 gs400 kybgr2 and i have already purchased eibach pro springs, not installed yet. Picked them up for 200 bucks BNIB. The install of the springs is going to run 400. For about 400 i can pick up the front and rear rca's and install them myself and resell the springs.

What are the advantages/disadvantages of rca's installed on stock springs vs no rca on eibachs?

thanks

$400 to install springs? Yikes. I assume that's including a 4 wheel alignment as well I would hope.

Springs are a breeze to install with basic hand tools, you just need to grab a spring compressor kit from autozone or advanceauto, they loan them out for free..

Swapping springs is easier than pulling the struts out....which is very easy. If your'e comfortable pulling the struts out, just borrow a spring compressor and do the whole job yourself.

What exactly are you trying to achieve? If you want OEM ride quality but want to eliminate the gap, get RCA. If you want to lower the car but improve handling as well, install the springs.

I concur....the RCAs on stock susp will give you the same ride, just lowered.

Eibachs will give you a bit stiffer ride + being lowered.

None of these will help with body roll, so if thats a concern, either go with Daizen sway bar bushings or the whole Daizen sway bar kit.
