Anyone's ride improved with lowering springs?
My 06 has the factory Sport Package. Ride is pretty firm but I like it. I have been thinking about lowering on Eibach Pros or Tein H Techs. I was wondering if I might see a slight improvement in the ride since I would be going with progressive springs compared to the linear rate springs on it now. I am mainly talking about the impact harshness from expansion joints or cracks in the road. I have read of a lot of people talking about their ride being firmer with lowering coils, but no one is stating whether they started with the standard suspension or the sport suspension.

Shocks (not springs) will have a bigger impact on reducing impact harshness from expansion joints or cracks in the road. All other things considered equal, aftermarket springs will make the ride firmer when compared to OEM sports.

My 08 had the factory sport suspension and I ended up swapping for F Sport springs on the stock sport shocks. Overall the everyday ride feels exactly the same. Where the difference lies is with rough or grooved surfaces as the car turns into a rattle box and noises that were never there before are now evident.
