Default UCA HOLE CUTTING...Thoughts?

I have my my GS pretty low on BC Coilovers for about a month now, as theyve settled I noticed a lot more UCA bang. Someone suggested drilling a hole to allow the UCA to travel a little more and get rid of the banging. Im wondering if this is a good idea and if anyone has pictures of it that would be awesome!

i mean i know its so hard, but your right we need a million of these threads also

BTW help yourself first and then others will help you

damn dude, relax...I DID do a search and I DID find some stuff about it, but no one mentioned if there was a better or different way of doing it so you're not drilling a big hole in the car. And Im not sure what you found but there is far from "a million" post about it...I found 2.

If this is too much for you, why do you bother posting a reply

people show you a handful of pics in those 2 threads, some covered with a grommet, some still open cut in a triangle shape, and some welded over the correct way of doing it....

HAD u searched BEFORE you made this thread,u wouldnt be asking for pics nor would you have even made this thread, you would have bumped one of those.....or just read them since both your ?'s were answered in those threads

AS I SAID, help yourself before you expect others to help you

BTW im not upset,im very relaxed.....

I cant believe i actually feel the need to justify myself...

but, I did search before making this post.... It was more to see if there were any other possible options.

So dont assume that you know what I did.

Im sorry for taking up a tiny slice of a giant forum. Im sure youre not upset , more like overly sensitive. Ive been on this forum for 3 months..Sorry Im not a seasoned pro like yourself. Get over it dude

Waahhhhhhh Waaaahhhh

Yeah I saw the pics of the guy that hacked triangles into his car, and I thought it looked like crap...By the way, why do you even keep replying??? maybe you can just let someone that can be a little helpful answer, rather then just whine about this post

I assume you came across this thread:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...ly-did-it.html

My search also came up with 2 results.

I think you don't need any more information, everything is in there.

Im not too sure how low it has to be Erick...my car is 25 inches from the ground to the top of the fender. My car is low but I dont hit all the time. Just with big bumps or dips in the road.

Yeah I hear you Yvie, I missed a couple of links in the thread, that showed me more. I was just wondering if there were aftermarket modified UCAs. I guess not. Thanks though!

thats EXACTLY what i was saying. had he actually searched before he made this post he would have found the 2 threads and he wouldnt have NEEDED to make this post at all cause all his info is in those posts.

I,MYSELF, EVEN LINK TO ANOTHER THREAD FROM THE ONE YOU LINKED TO WITH ALL THE NEEDED INFO. im done dude bottom line is you DIDNT search before making this or this thread wouldnt be here so stop saying/acting like you did and just be like...."yeah i was lazy i didnt search" least then i would have some respect for you, unlike you lying now and saying oh i saw those and then asking for pics from people of someone doing it.

"you didnt search, wahhhhhhh wahhhhhhhh" , stop crying!!! Im being lazy? Im already sitting in front of the computer!!! Why wouldnt I search?!?!

Anyway dude, why are you still commenting? Youre wasting more forum space by whining then my actual post did??!

I did a little digging on you...All you do is write posts, *****ing about everything on this forum. Why dont you get away from the computer and go drive your car, rather then telling people what to do with theres! Just shy of 13000 post in 3 years? pretty sad dude...Im sure 12,750 of them are useless unhelpful posts.

The difference is Yvie wasnt an obnoxious punk about it!
