ANY TIME the suspension is messed with, I would recommended getting an alignment...especially if an OEM item was replaced with an aftermarket one.

You dont need a camber kit for your H&R drop. Your not running aggressive wheels. With spring most people after install run it for a few weeks to let it settle. Cause once it settle the car kinda sags a bit lower. Then you get the alignment done for the correct ride height...

Meaning you want you spring to settle. Its simple just wait a few week then go back for your align.....Your car not gonna get damage weather you do it after or wait.

You may certainly align your car yourself. The question is, do you have the tools to measure angles? Chances are, if you are asking whether you can do alignment yourself or not, then you probably can't and won't know how to set up your car.

Alignment is alignment. There isn't one for tires or ride height. Everything needs to be taken into account before adjusting the angles.

And properly installed (and properly manufactured) springs do not settle

Direct quote from Eibachs FAQ:

Do a search on resetting the bushings correctly- folks failing to do so then having them deform after install is usually what is happening when people think their solid pieces of metal spring are somehow "settling"

You'll absolutely want an alignment after changing any suspension components though, especially springs.... and it's something I'd recommend finding a good alignment place to do properly- the main thing is you want the car to have 0 dynamic toe- that'll do more to reduce tire wear than anything else you can do on the vehicle.

Here's an example of what you'd have to do to do the alignment yourself. I'd recommend taking it somewhere. And I agree, if probably installed springs will settle once sat inside or taken around a couple of corners.

Install the springs yourself and wait a week to take it to a tire center to do a 4 wheel alignment. DONE!

get one, ive had mine on for about a year, and cause uneven tire wear...inside of my tires are worn almost to the steel braiding...never got it aligned. Took it to a local tire shop, and was told it was mostly my toe stance causing the wear, not the camber...can anyone confirm this? i would hate to have to buy a camber kit.
