Default suspension shutters at low speeds.

automatic transmission replaced.

This happens when i accelerate from a stop (0-10mph) and shutters at deceleration starting at 10mph to stop. Seems normal at higher speeds.

the shuttering seems to come from the front wheels. the shutters creates a vibration to the chassis where i can feel and hear.. If i coast at 0-2mph and start to accelerate pass 10mph or so you would hear...**CUH CUH CUH CUH CUH** then normal afterwards.

Could this be the steering rack and pinion? the boot leaks if i poke a hole in it.
My second idea is either transmission or drivetrain issues.(mounts? suspension bolts.)

car is 300K miles. and the ABS WIRE in the front was cut by the tire but i dont think this has to do with it.

what are my option for analysing and solving this shuttering from the suspension/drivetrain... ill go to a specialist soon but I'd like to hear inputs.

Thankyou for reply.

With 300k on your SC, I would change your LCA's, tire rod as well as new shocks and struts. I just changed the rack and pinion, front wheel bearings and new shocks and springs. I still hear the clunking in the front, mostly due to my LCA's need to be replaced as well as my tire rods. I'm most likely going to change my UCA's as well, since I'm changing everything else. As for the rack and pinon, I'm looking to change the bushings as well, since they are mostly likely bad.

Changing you LCA's alone should take care most of the noises that you are hearing.

I have that same problem as well...and I noticed it started soon after getting my rack and pinion rebuilt...But just like you guys, I need parts of my suspension replaced...I'm hoping changing the LCA (And an alignment afterwards) will get rid of that noise.
