Default Brake job info needed

I did my brakes on my 02 gs430 yesteday. The fronts are quite easy followed the sticky and had a basic knowledge of disc brake repair. Now the rears are a different story, only cause the way the cailper is set up. Has anyone replaced the rear pads that have the piston on each side of the caliper? I noticed that there is more hardware inside (I would assume to grasp the inside of the piston). These are the smaller square pads with the two loops on top. The stickies I found have a very old standard discs brake example that DOESNT come close to whats on the car.

Any step by steps?
