Default Trying to understand RCAs'

Ive been searching through threads, but cant find a final answer,
basically, can i raise my ride height on my BCR coilovers to make it a little harder to bottom out, (control arms hitting the frame) and then compensate for that via RCAs to then drop my car lower?

I guess my final question is what options are there to keep my car slammed while regaining suspension travel from the control arm?

I've never had a desire to go that low, so help me out - when you say the control arms are hitting the frame, is it the upper control arms hitting the shock tower?

If so, RCAs won't have an effect on what is happening; at a given ride height there won't be any noticeable change in the position/angle of the upper control arm.

Thanks for your reply! well what's hitting is whats connected to the front SPC camber kit. wondering if theres an aftermarket control arm that gets you more clearance

I think the Megan Racing control arm has slightly more clearance than the stock/SPC. I've seen some super expensive JDM control arms here as well that have more clearance. If you really want to go off the deep end you can have the upright shortened. Not a great idea, IMO. That trades more suspension performance all for the sake of being low.

yeah i was talking to some VIP guys where i kick it at, and they were showing me some control arm hacks, but not worth it to me lol. I may raise it up a little when I pick up some 19's

^The easiest "hack" is to hole saw into the shock tower where the UCA hits. LOL!
