Default LCA's and UCA's from ebay...

Dontcha love when wifey's car problems are your car problems. whaddaya guys think about these? Any bad experiences with ebay suspension items? I am chasing some clunking in the front end. Wifey just turns the key and drives.....no idea what costs may be......she will probably trade this Gs for a newer one in a year or two. So Unlesss she's keepin it, I will not pay in excess of 600$ boogs each for a control arm. I also have to find a suitable exhaust replacement since I got a CEL for the cat.

You could order the Daizen bushing kit for the LCA for 100$, do the install yourself, and throw some new lower ball joints on it at the same time, which are like 50-80$ a piece depending on if you go with moog or some other aftermarket, or OEM toyota.

For the bushing kit ^^

If you did both of those things, at that point you would have all new bushings in the LCA and the caster arm, and new lower ball joints, so your clunking would most likely be taken care of.

Do not ever buy generic suspension parts from ebay or anywhere else, unless you're trying to get rid of the wife

They will not last a year, and can put your wife in danger if they fail while the car is in motion. Get the proper original parts. Sewell Lexus has a great price on both lower and upper arms, with great discounts for club lexus members.

old but for reference, you can get the LCA for $100... actually some are even cheaper

I'm talking about this.

I'm in need of a shorter LCA. I bought an aftermarket adjustable UCA but don't want that route (still new, may sell it).
