Camber vs Toe
My lowered IS has 225 on front and 275 on Rear. both are Falken 452
I ran approx 8K mil after I put new and saw my rear tire today....I noticed horrible rapid tire wear. It's gone ...another $500
I noticed pretty lot of "black powder on rear lip" while ago but forgot to check.
I still not sure, but is it maybe "rubber"?????? Alignment is done when I put coilover. Incorrect alignment settings? I lowere but not too low. maybe same like most of lower spring does. 1.5" maybe. What is your Camber and Toe setting?
Can I refer yours?

here is some good info on this:

As from my exoerience, there is no sweet spot that will give you the most extended tire wear and the best performance. Seems as if you alyaws have to give up something, you want more performance from your alignment, then you sacrifice tire wear, etc.
you have the option to buy the megan camber and toe arms if you wana be low and have decent tire life
Another option is get some tires with reinforced inside ribs for cars with negative camber, I know the Sumitomo HRTZ III have that. or get the Continental extreme DW which have great tire wear ratings, I think its like 320
If you have coilovers, be prepared to use up tires faster than stock, our cars dont let you play with camber too much so by lowering the car you will always be around -2 degrees of camber which will wear out the inside of the tires.
8k miles is pretty bad if you drive it normally, it wouldnt be too bad if you go canyon driving, os track the car.

I checked last alignment data. It was Camber 2°00’, Toe 2.5. I don’t know good or bad. Anyway I decided to raise height (to reduce negative camber) and do alignment again. I'll get Continental extreme DWS as Juice14 suggested…then see what’s happen…
