Default Decision For Spring

So I currently have Eibach Springs with Shock Shocks and 19 Inch Rims.
My 19 Inch Rims have some Bends in them, and I bought 17 Inch stock rims to put on in the Spring. Anyways, I'm planning on changing up my suspension a bit for the Spring. My car doesn't handle harsh roads very well and I'm hoping replacing the 19s with 17s will help with this. Also, I am thinking about getting new Shocks since I'm not sure how old the current ones are.
So here is what I'm debating. I could go for OEM shocks with Bilstein HD's and put 235-55-17 tires on the Wheels (I know this isn't to Spec but it looks better than stock because of the reduced finger gap and it will be more comfortable - Link). Or I could keep my Eibach's and get Bilstein Sports with 235-45-17 in Spec tires. I'm just wondering if the Stock Springs will be THAT much better than the Eibach/Sport Combo. I'm looking for a Firm but Soft Set up which is why I went with the Bilstein Shocks. I want the car to be able to hit the occasional pot hole and not brake a rim and also be able to have a bit of handling, and not float on the highway.

If you got harsh road, getting 19's are gonna be WORST.

if you keeping the eibach springs...then go with bilstein sport shocks. oem shocks aren't made for lowered cars and will eventually blow (leak).

Lol I know that's what I said if I go OEM springs I'll get HD's or if I stay with Eibach I'm going to get the Sports. I am switching to 17's regardless. I'm just wondering how much of a difference there will be in comfort and performance and if it is worth going for OEM shocks (with HD's) with a larger sidewall instead of keeping the Eibachs with Sports and a regular sidewall.

well with 17's ull have a very confi ride, but ull loose handling, especially with 55 side walls epic body roll. i would go 18's and get the blister shocks as mentioned above. 18 and lowered on ur eibach's and stiffer shocks should do the trick. if not it could just be your bushings. that makes a big difference.
