Default spring rates for dumped guys

just wanting to see what spring rates you guys are running on your 2gs aftermarket coilovers. im going to go with a well tuned jdm coilover company (not telling) and they offer a custom setup running 40k front and 35k rear.

Hell if you're going with 40/35, you should just weld a piece of rod and call it a day. No need for springs/shocks

Wow! I think a rod would actually be softer...

Can't imagine any situation where you would need to go with springs that heavy duty. It won't be driveable!

Haha holy crap that's an incredible spring rate combo!! Hopefully you live where the roads are perfect!

Seriously though there is no need for rates that high even for a performance setup I would stick back around the 24k'ish range

Let us know how it rides though if you get them!

dallas roads are o-k-a-y i guess. ill be able to play with the suspension dynamics with the FUCA's, RUCA's, RLA's, toe rods, and traction rods. the rear wheels poke for now but recently i shaved the rear to the max before i install everything. not going for the "hellaflush" look. you'll see the stance once i get eveything installed and dialed in

ill post some pics of the rear sitting at stock height and let you see the poke.

you obviously have no clue about rates and valving. at those rates i would be worried if the rest of the car starts to fall apart at the seams

That would be seriously ridiculolus. You're suspension will not work with those rates.

Seriously. It will be the most uncomfortable ride.

I think the parts that would dampen his ride would be the ball joints LOL.

this guy.....since you offer no insight on the this thread, how about you find another one to post on and leave this one to 2gs guys that either

A. are experts at suspensions
B. are decent at suspensions and
C. looking to gain some knowledge about what "THEY ALREADY KNOW" rates, valving, and ahhhh yes....travel.

someone please chime in with postive input and not this "im gonna post because this guys sounds like a newb" crap
