My SC does this too, but I also found out my tires were bald. Is there anything else that could cause this because my SC still does it from time to time too.

I have the same problem! And i tried putting my car up on stands and moving the tires but they did not move! But i was looking around trying to move the control arms and i could not move anything except the rear sway bar. when i went to move that it moved with a small amount of force so i dont know if that means we need new rear sway bars or what lol. I was thinking about getting the Taabe sustec sway bars any ways. But i have been looking around trying to find out if supra sway bars work on sc's if any of you guys can tell me if they do or dont ill order them and see if that solves the problem.

I had this problem some time ago and it was a bad wheel bearing in the rear driver side. The crazy part is that the bearing wasn't even making any noise. Shimmy is all gone now though.

I'd check out your shocks and your sway bar mounts/ links. How many miles on your car, or better yet, on your current suspension.

I had this problem in my s13.
I replaced any ****ty control arms, didnt help.
Subframe on my car was bent out slightly, that was half the problem.
Other half was uneven coilovers.

Measuring tape for next time

Check both swaybar bushings and inspect your rear shocks. Are you on stock suspension to start with? We need more info

Do you have excessive negative (-) camber in the rear? I notice driving my brothers accord with ridiculous rear camber that the back sways back and forth alot and it never did before the stupid camber adjustment

I'am currently dropped on tein springs 2 inch drop with 18 inch wheels. The tires in the back are 265/35/18 pretty big and slight negative camber.. but I'm going to tire kingdom tomoro to check this out. I doubt its the sway bars tho because it feels lyk its one tire thats loose or pulling to one side only..?

I would check your driver side rear strut. Mine did the same thing, but swayed or bucked to the right going over uneven surfaces. I checked my suspension components and first thing I noticed was the passenger rear strut was leaking. I was fortunate to be able to purchase a set of coilovers and the problem went away, it's rock solid now.

mayb my strut is leaking I saw some green fluid around it..but would that cause it to swerve ... doesn't a strut just absorb vertical impact and control arms hold it in a straight line?

If it is leaking should i just replace the whole strut then how much does that usually run?

+1 for me.

My back end wanted to steer itself over every little bump. I thought it was worn bushings, but after putting in a new set of Tokicos, it drives straight again. The old shocks were really worn and clunking.
