Should front rotors spin freely? Mine dont..

Default Should front rotors spin freely? Mine dont..

Should i be able to spin my front rotors when the wheels are off freely? By that i mean I fling it and it keep spinning. Mine turn but with some pressure applied...

you should NOT be able to either spin it freely, like a BMX bike or have resistance that you would need a pipe wrench to make it rotate.

It should rotate with your hand but not freewheel, if it doesnt i would take the caliper off and take a looksy

there should be pressure because the pads sit on the rotor kinda. this way, it keeps the pads warm

It probably won't spin more than a 1/2 turn flinging it by hand, with the wheel/tire mounted you would probably get a rotation or two with the added weight.

It's normal.
