Thinking of going from DF210 to NF210
Hey guys,
Just wanted to get your thoughts on going from the Tanabe DF210s to NF210s. After a year and 10,000 miles on the DF210s I am a little sick of constantly scraping, looking for bumps and parking stops, etc. I love how the car drives but at this point I'm just done with scraping my lip/bottoming out everywhere that I go...it's taking the fun out of the car.
The drop is less aggressive 1.5/1.0 vs 1.9/1.6 and I'm thinking that might be the perfect balance for what I want.
Has anyone else made a similar move?
Thanks,
Michael

Aren't you on OEM wheels? I think it's time to move up to 20's Oh, and then go lower. I'm not kiddin either. I used to bottom out and rub all the time with 18's. Then I went to 20's and the wheel gap disappeared, and the ride height went up. So I lowered it juuuust a bit and now I don't bottom out or scrape!

If I lived out in the burbs I wouldn't really think twice about sticking with my current setup and going for larger rims, but at this point it just doesnt make much sense

Hi guys,
I greatly appreciate everyone's comments. After some further consideration, I just purchased the NFs and should be getting them put on sometime soon. I looked at the other springs available and have been very happy with my Tanabes, so I figured I would stick with the brand. I know these are going to be more wheel gap, but as stated above, I have to do something because the current suspension setup is not working. Either my TTE lip and the underbody of my car is going to be trash, or I can keep riding low. At this point, I'm obviously going for something that is a little more liveable for my daily life.
I'll keep you updated on my thoughts.
