IS350 Coilover help!
hi,
i have an IS350, and i wanna get lower, so i wanna go the coilover route. i deciding to go the comfort route, so im looking at the BCR coilovers or the megans. but i do not know which to choose. which coilovers do yall prefer? i also dont know how to install, so is there a DIY for this? thanks in advance :) |
For comfort, go with BCR and preload the springs to 10k/8k. Trust me. If you don't know how to install coilovers, I suggesting having professionals do it for you.

BCR was what i was planning on getting, but i wanna know other's inputs on what coils they like.
ive done installs on other cars, but i havent done any on the IS, so thats why im looking for a DIY and some helpful tips on it. thanks brociouz for the swift reply |
Megans use pillowball mounts, which give you a harsher ride (and more noise) in exchange for slightly better handling. That's why BCR's are better for comfort. The other one to consider would be TEIN CST, but they're more expensive and I hear have had quality problems (leaking, poor build quality, etc.).

hmm so BCR is the right way to go
|
If you're looking for a "comfort" setup we can get you a custom set of BCR coilovers tailored for what you need.
Just shoot us a PM :) |
Buy KW V3's
|
Aren't the v3's twice the price of BC Racing?
|
Of course it is, but it's gonna totally be worth it.
|
Bc is too soft for my taste, so very stock like ride. Great product for the price though! I may look into getting different springs from them soon because its just too soggy compared to the stance gr+ I had on my g35.
